Sourng Sophea

My story is

I have polio. I use a wheelchair and I crawl.

When I was young, I wanted to be a translator. When I grew up, I wanted to do fancy hand stitching. That dream changed.

I feel happy with myself now that I am at CHA. I feel different than I did before. I can do my job. Before, I did nothing.

I came to CHA because CHA gave me a hope. I am happy to meet other polio victims and we study English together.

I hope that in the future, I can find a good job for my life after I learn at CHA.

I will stay at CHA until I have confidence in myself.

I chose to come to CHA myself, but my family encouraged me.

My favorite part at CHA is doing fancy hand stitching, and just living at CHA.

My hope is my job. With my job, I can help my family, even though it isn’t much. I want to see my family have happiness.
